WHO WE ARE
Crossroads Project is a team
of researchers, writers, cartoonists, educators and organizers who
develop instructional media based on the work of selected community-based
artists and their collaborators.
We rely on our sponsors and funders,
to produce and distribute publications, projects and events.
WHAT WE DO
The Crossroads Project documents and passes on proven
strategies that engage young people in learning and social
change through the arts. Crossroads uses the framework
CRAFT, developed over 10 years of research, as a common
language for all its publications, workshops and gatherings,
including its first book Beginner's Guide to Community-Based
Arts, published by New Village Press, Oakland, CA (2005).
Crossroads Project staff and consultants are available for
public events as workshop leaders and speakers regarding our
work and methodologies.
